Occupational Therapy (OT) is a holistic approach to health, which does not separate physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and environmental health from each other. OT’s look at the interaction of the person (e.g. motivation, emotions, resilience, choice, roles) their occupations (e.g. how they do things) and their environment (physical, cultural, social, institutional). This means working with children by enabling them to experience life and actively engage in doing things they enjoy!
