Schools project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund
We are excited to be awarded money from the National Lottery Community Fund to support a project with schools.
The grant will deliver an experiential therapuetic equine assisted growth & learning (EAL) pilot programmes using the Eagala model for children & young people with a range of social, emotional, mental health, behavioural & learning difficulties.
Equine assisted learning is a relatively new concept in the UK, with growing research / evidence to show the positive impact EAL has on clients’ emotional well-being. This funding will enable us to work with schools to support 25+ children and to measure the pre and post outcomes to demonstrate the value of this work.
We are currently half way through the project which will complete at the end of the academic year. What this space for the report on the outcomes.
