Icaad Interview with Carey Khan on the Eagala model of Psychotherapy and learning incorporating horses
In July 2020, we were representing Eagala (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) at the international iCAAD conference, set up with the intention to expand knowledge, exchanging ideas and advancing wellbeing in the mental health industry. We are trained professionals in the Eagala model and offer Eagala model sessions at Time to Shine. The Eagala model is highly regarded worldwide due to its evidence driven results. We spoke to individuals and organisations interested in incorporating horses into their treatment for trauma, substance use/ addiction and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
