Employability programme

We provide children and young people who experience social, emotional and mental health difficulties the practical and emotional support they need to help them overcome their challenges and shine.

Our programme helps young people who have had a difficult start in life or from disadvantaged backgrounds to overcome their barriers and develop the key skills they need to support them into education, training, employment and/or social enterprise.

Discover your unique talents. Learning with horses to discover and unblock the barriers that are holding you back and enabling you to reach your full potential.

Increase confidence and self-esteem, along with reinforcing positive attitudes.

Address mental health challenges like low self-worth, low mood, anxiety and other barriers that may be holding you back.

Our work increases motivation and participation of young people in other areas of the school curriculum, keeping pupils engaged within schools as an alternative to exclusion and to support them in the mindset development for future employment.

Experiential eight session programme

  • Address any mental health challenges that may be holding you back
  • Getting to know yourself – Discover their uniqueness, talents and reach their potential.

  • What’s next for them – what are they creating and actions they will take

We then work with partners to provide support with CV writing, interview practice, voluntary and paid employment placements and opportunities.
