Resilient Children is an Educational, Child and Adolescent Psychology Service that provides support to parents/carers, schools, local authorities and Social Care to identify the needs of the children to find the best way forward to meet their educational, social and emotional needs.
The work involves a broad range of assessments work; cognitive assessment, specific learning difficulties e.g. dyslexia, social and emotional needs. Assessments to support the requests for education, health and care needs assessments. Teaching staff and parental training on various subjects including; growth mindsets, meta-cognition & meta-learning, the impact of attachment on children's development, overcoming emotional barriers to learning and supporting the development of children's resiliency.
